A roller shade sail provides an indisputable advantage to wind-exposed locations. Depending on the conditions, you can easily roll up your shade sail in order to protect it. Its water repellant canvas, that filters 97% of UVs is dyed with no harmful substances and resists discoloration.
The roller Acryl 300 shade sail is a 100% acrylic waterproof shade sail of 300 g/m².

Features needed for a proper installation
To install your sail in the best condition, we recommend you choose these tension systems:
- 1 short tension system in the « endless rope » side
- 1 reinforced tension system in the opposite angle of the roller
- Standard tension systems in the other angles (1 if triangle and 2 if quadrilateral).
These tension systems can suit any type of fixtures (walls or poles).

Some tips :
The Acryl 300 solar shade is adapted to moderate winds (max 60km/h).
During installation, create a 25% incline between the different fixture points to allow rainwater evacuation. For example, if the side of your sail measures 300 cm, you must create an incline of 75 cm (300 x 0,25).
The Acryl 300 fabric is water repellent, thus water will glide on it instead of immersing itself and pouring through it. This is true only if a 25% incline is created and the tension is adequate. . Otherwise, a water pouch will create on the sail.
The size of the shade sail can be up to +/-5% of the expected size due to the elasticity of the fabric and the manufacturing process.
The sail seams are none waterproof..
The fixture points must always be situated in the continuation of the shade sail diagonals :
Plan a margin of at least 45 cm in these diagonals for the fixtures to exert sufficient tension.
The sides of the shade sail are curved. This allows a good shade tension without creases.
The size of the shade sail can vary from +/-5% with the given size, because of the elasticity of the fabric, the fabrication process, and the tension brought to the sail.
