What is the difference between the dimensions of the sail and the dimensions between the fixing points?

When you validate a quote, three displays are available to you depending on the type of sail required.

Case 1:  Standard sail

The dimensions shown are those of the sail.

Choice of sail colour

Second case:  Custom sails with sail dimensions

As with standard sails, the dimensions shown are those of the sail.

size of the sail

Third case: Sail made to measure with dimensions between fixing points

The dimensions given are those between fixing points and not those of the sail. The tensioning distances (tX) are the distance from the corner of the sail to the attachment point (wall, mast, tree...). They include the tensioning systems. These distances are calculated according to an algorithm and are proportional to the size of the sail. The larger the sail, the greater the distance.  This guarantees a durable installation.

At this stage of the quotation, we do not know the measurements of the sail. It is only during the manufacturing process that they will be calculated.
