The SOLAR 200 waterproof shade sail offers optimal sun protection. This waterproof fabric made of coated polyester is ideal for shading terraces that are often exposed to rain. Triangular or rectangular, these sails can be installed on all types of terraces.
Thanks to its coated polyester fabric, the Solar 200 shade sail is waterproof.
The sail has negative curves of 5% on each side.
It resists to winds that go up to 40km/h while filtering more than 95% of UV rays (UPF higher than 30). The sail must be installed with the seams facing the ground.
The Solar 200 offers excellent value for money. This sail needs to be well-tensed and you have to create a slope of 25% for the rainwater to drain.

The fabric of the waterproof Solar 200 solar sail is made of polyester thread. Guaranteed 2 years, it provides:
The Solar 200 sail is shipped with a nautical stainless steel snap hook at each angle for a fast installation and disassembly. Nautical stainless steel is unalterable and has excellent traction resistance.

The Solar 200 is suitable for moderate winds (up to 40 km/h). When installing, create a rope of 25% between the different fixture points to allow rainwater to drain.
For example, if the side of your sail is 3-meter long, you will need to create a slope of 75 cm (3 x 0.25).
The fabric of the Solar 200 sail is hydrophobic, so water will run off it instead of seeping through. This is only relatable if the 25% slope has been correctly applied and the tension is good. If not, a water pocket will be created on the sail.
The attachment points must always be placed following the sail diagonals (medians for triangles):
Plan a 45cm to 250cm margin in these diagonals so that the fixtures exert enough tension.
The shade sail sides are curved. This allows an adequate tension for the sail without creases.
The size of the shade sail can vary up to +/-5% with the given size due to the elasticity of the fabric, the fabrication process, and the tension brought to the sail.
A shade sail must be tensioned at every corner. You will not be able to tension your sail with a simple carabiner. You should have tensioning systems at every corner of your sail.
If you don't want to drill your walls, you can position poles. The poles can be screwed to the ground, embedded in the ground, fixed to the wall or screwed to the ballast support so as not to pierce a waterproof covering or a public place.
